About MemeCore
MemeCore is a Layer 1 blockchain aimed exclusively at memecoins and the communities around them. The idea is to give memecoins their own network instead of living as tokens on Solana or BNB Chain — with tools for issuing, trading and community management built into the protocol.
The project uses its own consensus model in which rewards depend partly on community activity around a token, not only on capital staked. It is an attempt to measure something hard to measure — human engagement — and, as with other such mechanisms, the main question is resistance to artificial inflation.
It is a young network. With projects of this type it is sensible to look at how much is genuinely created and traded on the network, and to bear in mind that the memecoin sector is highly cyclical.
