Retail — ordinary people with no standing relationship to the market — arrives in crypto late, usually after months of rising prices. That makes the crowd's attention a useful companion signal for cycle tops: by the time the whole internet cares, it is usually late.
YouTube — median views per video from the public RSS feeds of the eight largest English-speaking channels. App Store — where exchange apps sit among the most downloaded free apps in the US. Wikipedia — daily readership of the Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Ethereum and Satoshi Nakamoto articles.
