The mempool is the queue of transactions waiting to be included in a block. To the left of the divider are projected blocks — an estimate of how miners will pack the waiting transactions into the next blocks (~1 block every 10 minutes). To the right are blocks that have already been mined.
Click a block to see its transaction layout: tile size corresponds to transaction size (vB), color to the fee paid (sat/vB). The fuller the mempool, the higher the fee needed for a fast confirmation.
Bitcoin produces a new block roughly every 10 minutes. The current block height drives the halving schedule, miner rewards, and all on-chain metrics.
