About Beldex
Beldex has focused on privacy since 2018. Alongside the coin itself, which uses cryptography similar to Monero's to conceal sender, recipient and amount, the project builds a suite of applications — a messenger, VPN, browser and exchange — meant to run over its own node network.
The network runs on masternodes: an operator must post BDX collateral, in return collecting part of the reward and routing the applications' traffic. The model resembles Dash's, but with a broader set of services.
Strongly private projects collide with regulation — exchanges delist them in some countries, and the EU is expected to tighten rules on anonymised transfers. For a token of this type that is a risk to weigh alongside market risk.
